I spent most the week in pain at night unable to sleep because of the the shooting pain down my left leg
and not to mention the tingling and paralysis. The pain subsides from a 7-9 to a 3-5 when I
aggressively ride my bike I can not soft peddle without stopping because of pain. I felt I could fake 45 minutes of intervals and have an influence at the least. The field set up behind me right from the beginning and would not come around me no matter how slow I went. They would spill there guts trying to contain me through out the rest of the race and in the end I had to sprint from 700m out. The final picture was taken 20 yards from the finish line. I'm in the middle and gave up a half a wheel at the finish line and finished third. The 3rd rider on the outside was my team mate who finished 1st. This weeks the state championships....I wonder.....!
